Unblox embeds with your team to take AI from strategy to shipped systems. When a solution turns out to be a pattern your whole industry needs, we spin it out and build the company — with you.
We build with the tools we recommend. No theory without a system behind it.
AI that makes your people more capable — not a headcount spreadsheet exercise.
The studio model means our upside is tied to solving your problem properly.
Start with any block. They compound: strategy uncovers the problems, capability makes the change stick, and the studio turns repeated patterns into companies.
Board-level AI strategy that ends in production, not PowerPoint. We embed with your team, pick the problems that move revenue, risk or capacity, and ship working systems against your metrics.
The programs behind executive AI education for Samsung, the ATO, QBE and CBA — rebuilt for your context, not a generic curriculum. Your people leave using AI daily, not talking about it.
When an engagement uncovers a high-value problem that repeats across an industry, we co-build the company that solves it — with you as first customer, reference, and if you want it, co-owner.
Consulting firms sell hours. Studios chase ideas. We run one loop that turns solved problems into companies.
We work inside your team on a problem that matters to revenue, risk or capacity — not a pilot for the innovation lab. If it wouldn't survive a board conversation, we don't start.
Programs delivered for, backed by, or built with the above organisations.
Unblox is led by Lamont Tang — AI strategist, founder, and faculty at AGSM @ UNSW Business School and the UNSW AI Institute.
Lamont has run executive AI programs for Samsung, the Australian Taxation Office, QBE and Commonwealth Bank; founded a HAX and Johnson & Johnson-backed AI hardware company; and is a Stanford StartX alum. That mix matters: most advisors have read about AI transformation. We've been on both sides of it — the boardroom and the build.
Unblox exists because the same pattern kept appearing: enterprises don't need more AI advice, they need someone accountable for the outcome. And the best problems — the expensive, repeated, industry-wide ones — deserve more than a consulting engagement. They deserve a company.
Every engagement ends with something running in production, and people who can run it.
We design AI around judgment, trust and adoption — the tech is the easy part.
Pilots die in labs. We pick problems whose solutions compound across the org — or the industry.
Where it makes sense, we take outcomes and equity over hours. Incentives beat promises.
Tell us the problem in plain language. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you somewhere better — usually within 48 hours.
